About me and this Website!

I'm an 18 year old gal from Portugal just about to enter university and I go by Sari online.
I am very thankful and truly happy to be someone with alot of passions and things I love, when I talk about "passions" and "love" I feel like I can never truly do it justice due to the sheer impact it all had on me as a person, everything I know and love is what turned me into who I am and I hope alot of people relate to this feeling.
Aside from passions, one of the things that shaped me the most were people, to those I just want to remind that we had good times together, don't forget that.
This was one of the main reasons I wanted to make this page, not just to share it with others but for myself too.
The stuff i luv!!
This part is going to be really big with alot of yapping so here's a table of topics you can skip to:
Music

I'd say music is THE best thing in life, it all started when I was like 9 and my older cousin showed me the Final Episode music video from Asking Alexandria (I assume it was to scare me or something) and I remember just thinking to myself "woah that's so cool, she's so cool and I wanna be like her" and from on there I began to listen to that music video specifically on youtube.
Music makes me feel alive and human, it amplifies what would otherwise be vague feelings. Sharing some of your favorite pieces and having someone actually listen to them with their undivided attention feels like a warm hug of acknowledgement.
Here are my favorite genres in no particular order
I'm going to make a blog post about this in more detail since it's so much but here are the albums that mean the most to me:
This album saved my life.

I want to try to live for someone, but there is no tomorrow for us.
A few sentences do not make justice to this one.

Where it all started, unforgettable memories attached to people I can't thank enough for existing.

Eternally grateful for the band that inspired me to keep pushing through to achieve my artistic dream, inspiring people and shows that make me believe that it will happen, thank you.

Controlled chaos, introduced me to my favorite genre, mathcore.

Music as a creative outlet

It doesnt stop in just listening, creating and playing music is one of the greatest outlets in life for me, even if you dont get to releasing anything or finishing anything.
At the moment I play guitar and screamy vocals (although not very good), I like to write Math Rock and Mathcore stuff, I use Reaper as my DAW
My babies
This was my first ever guitar, I was big into metal and metalcore at the time and wanted something cheap just to try out the hobby and see if I liked it. To this day I still cherish this guitar very much not only because of nostalgia but because it is genuinely a good guitar, I still use it even now.
Almost exactly one year later I decided to get a 7 string, I had long been obsessed about it to the point it felt like a NECESSITY (imagine not being able to play the songs you love due to gear!) so I pulled the trigger on it. I don't regret it but it's a bit sad that I don't use it as much as my other 2 guitars, it's not necessarily the guitar's fault but I simply don't really listen to stuff that uses 7 strings anymore so it is slowly gathering dust on my stand.
This was my most recent purchase, alright... call it recency bias but this is easily my favorite guitar. By far the one that feels the best to play and it just sounds AMAZING, I really wish I could put it into words but it is just so pretty, so nice and so good sounding it's impossible not to love it. I got it mainly because im really getting into mathrock and EVERY SINGLE MATHSOMETHING ARTIST and their MOM has a telecaster at home, because cmon! It's a telecaster!
My gear
This not very awesome amp came along with my guitar on a set. Uhhhh it is okay? It's not bad by any means but what would you expect from a 90 euro amp? It had ok clean tones but the "distortion" wasn't very good, which kinda sucked for someone who was constantly playing metalcore, it was even worse with the 7 string. I did however kinda manage to mitigate some of it's problems with the thing I'm going to talk about next.
I got this pedalboard on my 16th birthday, just 4-5 months after getting my first guitar. It SAVED me, I would spend so much time messing with all the effects on it, sadly the built in amps and stuff kinda sucked ass- which was a massive disappointment to me because I REALLY wanted to fix my mediocre amp, belive it or not it's still one of the most important pieces of gear I own now and It's not even considered a "ok/good" pedalboard.
After 2 years of alot of practice, a 3 month hiatus due to burnout and pretty much no new purchases, this year, I decided to finally do it, I got a GOOD amp. I wanted to do this because I finally felt prepared enough to get kinda "serious" about it, I've started frequenting alot of local shows and I'm starting to build hope that I will finally start a band, it was well worth it. Not going to comment about it too much as it is still kinda new to me but so far no complaints AT ALL. Eternally for everyone that didn't let me give up on this dream.
Gaming

Although I don't play nearly as much as I used to I still enjoy gaming as a hobby sometimes.
For the sake of brevity, I'm going to talk about the games I have been playing for the past few years because if I included every single one since childhood this page would be unreadable.
I think we all know this game isnt uh, the best..? But as a nerdy trans teenage indivual it was NATURAL that I would end up in this game, this is what fueled my obsession for military engineering and jets and stuff...
Been playing this one since childhood, also came from my cousin-
Seriously such an underrated game.
This game means alot to me, also what fueled my stupid nerdy shit
Counter-Strike 2, I have so many good memories in this but it also reminds of alot of stuff that hurts. CSGO is a different story.
GTA V, also alot of great memories (especially from childhood) but also related to alot of personal stuff.
Phasmophobia, was fun, nothing else to say.
Anime

As per usual this came from my cousin too when I was around 10 she showed me Tokyo Ghoul (which at the time was peaking i think), crazy thing to show a 10 year old but I'm grateful for it now LOL.
Here's a few series that stand out:
It's funny how all roads lead to Tokyo Ghoul LMAO, sui ishida, TK, ling tosite sigure, the cabs and osterreich WHICH IS ALSO RELATED TO THE CABS!!?!?
One of the best shows I've ever seen and read. It's cute but wrecks you.
Broke me.
Skateboarding

This is a semi-recent one, re-ignited something in me, makes me feel human. I'm not crazy good at it (far from it) but I'm improving slowly.
Here are my boards and some random images:
Balisong Flipping

This hobby has been in my mind since I was a kid, I remember being 13-14 and begging my parents for a shiny new Nabalis G10 from aliexpress just for a 9 dollar rainbow ccc to arrive on my mailbox, WHICH I DIDNT EVEN CARE! All that mattered was that I had a balisong.
it lasted 2 weeks before it blew up and i never touched it again
Well time passed, I turned 17 and had enough money of my own to pursue my childhood hobby, I was OBSESSED. I was constantly flipping, constantly learning and yapping about it to my friends (which ended up getting balisongs of their own too)
Still like it alot to this day, tied to so many memories.
Genuinely so pretty, I wish I still flipped it as often, looks great on my desk though!
And YOU, yes you! Thank you for reading all of this mess. You're important and valued, do not ever ever doubt your worth!
